My user has a requirement to repack a finished goods.
Because it involves only repacking and maybe attach a new label, there is no need to go through the entire manufacturing process.
How do I capture this in SAP, in particular, the labour hours/costs involved in the packing?
Do I still create a rework order for this?
If yes, do I remove all the raw materials and only have the finished goods in the component overview?
Also, routing here is simplified in the sense that there is only one operation to represent the entire manufacturing process from start to end including packaging).
This operation is assigned to a work center that is actually a machine for making the finished goods.
As mentioned, there is only need to repack the finished goods, so no manufacturing is required.
In that case, how can capture the labour hours just for repacking?
