How do I display images on crystal report from sql server 2008 stored in varbinary

Hi, I am trying to display images on crystal reports but image are not displaying at all. The images are stored in SQL server 2008 in base64Binary format. I converted the images to varbinary(max) datatype in sql server. I am using crystal report R2 (11.5) version. Please advise. Does crystal 11.5 support varbinary images? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
