I have aconcern,we have several in SAP chart of depreciaton, one for each country(we havethe same system various company codelocated in differentcountries), also all company codesharethe same chart ofaccounts.
RecentlyimplementedIFRSforColombiaand hiredan outsideconsulting firm.Afterconsultingmade changesin the parameterization, we noticed thattheaccount determination(AO90) is totally dependent; ie, if I change the account "Acquisition and production costs" for chart of depreciaton "1CO", chart of Accounts "PUC", Account determination "1520", Real depreciation area "1"; then changesalso, the account "Acquisition and production costs" for chart of depreciaton "1EC", chart of Accounts "PUC", Account determination "1520", Real depreciation area "1".
The consulting firmconfirmed to us thatthis happensbecauseall companiesshare thechart of accounts andisas it should be. Is this correct?. can achieve againindependence inaccount determinationdifferent chart of depreciaton?. Why before there wereindependent andnot now?
