In OKB9 we maintain default cost centre, profit centre etc., against a cost element.
In new GL when you have activated cost centre and profit centre as slitting characteristics then is there any need to maintain OKB9, since system will stop posting the FI entry if system unable to find CC, PC and OKB9 settings are relevant for only.
I believe even if OKB9 settings not maintained when CC, PC (Assumed BA is not used) are configured as document splitting characteristics. Is my understanding is correct?
