price control change from S to V

Hello Gurus,

I got request from our user is to change the price contol from S to V for one one plant.

but whenever I am trying to change it using MM17 in table MBEW,

It shows the green light but the error is that

"The material cannot be maintained since no maintainable data transferred"

I even tried to change using mm02 but its grid out in accounting view.

Can you please tell me how to do this for any plant
